We’re having a giveaway!!
Calling all BFFs, Comrades, & Mates. October is Friendship month so step out and celebrate!
Several cultures have their way of establishing constructs of friendship: The term friend is exclusive among the Russians and still quite reserved among the Asian nations and India. While here in the states, we’ve got friends of corporate convenience and friends with benefits that ebb and flow with our needs. A bit sad, really. But who keeps up with their BFF from kindergarten? Seriously? I’d like to know!

Hard to imagine
Where would we be without them?
Our soul’s treasure, Friends.
They are indeed, my friend!
Those small pieces of art are gorgeous! I still have friends from grade school – and just celebrated my 50th high school reunion.
50?! Wow! Congrats Kim!
This actually reminded me that it was my best friends birthday today, October 13, 2010. We have been friends for 35 years, and although we don’t always remember birthdays, it was so nice to remember it and talk to her today. We talked about how very special it was to have a friend who was always there whenever we needed them, and how remembering dates like birthdays was nice, but not really important as opposed to knowing your friend is there for you, no matter when. Days, weeks, months can go by, and there’s always that special “connection” whenever we talk to each other. Prize aside, I thank you.
Great sentiment for family, friends and loved ones.
Thank you.
You bet! Great to brighten quiet spaces, too.
As I go thru these challenges that have been set before me for the past 8-1/2 yrs. I know I would not have been able to face them if it had not been for my daughter, my very best friend and all those wingless angels I call fiends! I love them and they have been more like family than much of my family. I thank GOD each & everyday for all of them!
Aw! I’m heartened to know you’ve got support when you need it most, Lin.
My very best friend is my hubs, and my fur-baby Sadie-Mae is my BFF…she doesn’t talk, usually smells like garbage, but I sure do love her.
I can’t imagine life without friendships…I have them spread out all over the US…and not a day goes by that I don’t connect with most of them, either through my website, blog, or Facebook and email….lovely prints!
Ha! “…smells like garbage” >hilarious! Made me laugh out loud. 🙂 Yah, it’s tough going through life without friends -we all need the connection.
I’ve never had a ton of friends, but those I have are FABULOUS and I don’t know what I would do without them. The absolute best is the love of my life! And yes, several of my best friend have 4 furry feet (gotta love my kitties;) ) but that should be expected as I’m a registered vet tech!
Awesome, Kathy, on both counts! Good to hear that as a vet tech, you love animals. 😉 Who wouldn’t?!
Is it fate? I have three best friends I always get together with for girl’s nights out, and I would love to give each one of these prints. You guys make such beautiful stuff!!
Sounds like a winning trifecta, Tralena! Or would that be… Trilena? ;D
I love my friends. I have very little family so my friends become an extention of that family.
I am so blessed because my very best friends are my family- we work together, play together, travel together- all 16 of us!
I won! I never thought I would actually win! You have made my year. What do I need to do?
Tralena-
I sent you an email with info. Let me know if you haven’t received it by morning!
Congrats!!
