Please comment, we want to know what you think.
Cultivating Your Sophisticated Style,
Lisa
oooh, BRAVO! this is a stunner! love the idea of graduated pockets so that everything isn’t milling around in the bag together. will this eventually be available in other colors/patterns? nice work, team!
Thanks Penny. You know that milling is actually illegal in some states. π
And yes, eventually, it will be available in other colors/patterns. π Any suggestions?
xo
I love the look of the bag, I’m just wondering if it would hold a big 17″ laptop and is it padded?. I take mine back and forth to work every day and a nice looking bag that could protect the laptop from the occasional bump or bang would be great.
Hey Vicky-
This particular version doesn’t but we can make one that can!
Thanks for your input.
Lisa
I would also be interested in 17″ like Vicky. I like what I see though. Any idea on pricing?
Love this bag! Very sleek for us gadget lovers! Nice job!
Thanks, Toni!!
I have also been looking at padded computer bags to hold this overlarge 17″ laptop and something that has graduated pockets or slots for my other stuff. The other requirement I wanted is that it’s long, NOT wide. It’s been difficult to find exactly what I want and this is REALLY close.
Narrow-minded is key! π The graduated pockets are also helpful, aren’t they?
That is such a handsome bag!!!!! If I were a working, career Mom or Dad, I would love to have one, maybe even buy one but I’d rather leave big hints and get it as a gift!
Gifts are always nice.

It would not take very strong hints! The bag looks great and would be very practical for Madam. Though as you know, we are just a bit old (not too).
I like it, especially the artwork on the inside flap and the graduated pockets. I’m wondering if it would fit my IBM laptop which might be bigger than an Apple laptop? I think it might get pretty heavy with a laptop, ipad, phone, files and journal it. Is the leather sturdy enough to hold it all? I really like the narrow orientation.
I would buy it, but like all things, will depend on the price point. And I’m cheap. :0)
This is that all-in-one inclusive design, Marna. Carrying a laptop will always be heavy -unless you can get your employer to buy you a MacAir? π One can always replace the journal with cords and such. As far as price, well, we believe that with our lifetime guarantee, a handcrafted workhorse will always make a great investment to protect one’s toys. π
Thanks for commenting!
I think this is great! I love the graduated pockets. The only thing that would bother me is the brown strap and brown accents. I’d prefer all black.
We can do all black, tho we’re partial to mix. π
This is terrific Lisa. Love the style. Of course, if you made it from eco-friendly material, would be great π
The bag I have now is not this sleek, but has one feature I love. The fabric is stretchy so I can easily fit the cord (and transformer, an external drive and a mouse plus some other things. If it weren’t stretchy, I’d never fit everything. Not sure whether I could in this bag.
Yours wins hands down in the chic department though!
Love the wraparound to help cushion the weight on the shoulder which is a killer for me!
Hey Lynn! Good to see you.
Knowing that leather is one of the most renewable resources out there, our leathers are also produced in Italy and means that the leathers have to comply with Italyβs very strict anti-pollution legislation. We prefer that over the environmental disasters known as man-made leathers.

For those extra cords and components, would you happily use the hinged pouch on the front or would you prefer a separate, smaller coordinating connecting bag? I’ve been using our Riverside totes for my camera batteries & cards while using a second one for my connecting cords and transformer.

Meanwhile, thanks for the kudos in the chic department. We strive to keep elegant lines in our products and this piece is specially gorgeous.
Thanks for dropping by!
I love it! Especially the long slim design. I’m with the others on the larger laptop though. I have a bigMac (haha) and It’s currently carried around in a messenger type bag that really works well with the over the shoulder design that is more comfortable when traveling. But it’s wide rather than long… I like the long! I love the graduated pockets! I would consider this smaller laptop bag as a useful purse, especially after I get an iPad! I also like the idea of a natural tanned leather… about the same color on your site here. It’s nice of you to ask! Oh and p.s. Can you possibly design a manbag? Michael is getting an ipad (ordered, waiting) and I would invest in a good protective bag for him because he’s a man and he’s rougher on stuff. Oh, oh! and maybe one of the pockets could hold it’s little keyboard! I know, it’s a stretch and I’m rambling…. thanks for asking! Never been one to sit quietly! π
Hey Becky-
When you say “I would consider this smaller laptop bag as a useful purse,” are you looking for one only for an iPad? We’ve got the Metro Midsize that will accomodate an iPad nicely.

Um, you guys have a keyboard for the iPad? Really? Ohh-kay… ;D I’m betting the keyboard would fit into this bag. I’m guessing guys would like this bag with or without being technophiles and this bag would pull double-duty.
Thanks so much for stopping by! We really appreciate it!
For everyone who is interested about the size, I go back and forth to the office with a 15″ Dell Latitude laptop everyday in addition to the iPad, journal, files, & other stuff. The bag holds everything no problem and I get lots of comments -people actually flip up the cover to go through it!
Hope that helps. π
Love it, Lisa!! I want one ASAP — begging Andrew daily, but I know — June, June, June. Love the fabric inside, also want all black leather, would like closure on flap (magnet or ring/strap?), also like to have pocket on back with small strip of leather so I can hook over my rollerbag (travel thru airports, carring a shoulder-bag with laptop, iPad & stuff, ugh), plus a few more “holes” on the strap so I can shorten it when not using as a cross-body. Love the compartments — would love to have a small-flat billfold to match.
Fellow Rebel Debbie-
Great minds think alike. I will work on the man to get this item done before Artsplosure (mid-May). It’s been a great hit among many and we realize the need. Keep working on him from your end and I’ll keep working on mine. π Together we can shape this bag into something magnifique! π
It needs padding to protect the laptop otherwise this looks FABULOUS.
