Return Policy

We guarantee great product and craftsmanship. Let me know if you’re not 100% satisfied.

We hope that when you purchase an item from us, you are making an investment in yourself and that you realize that you’re making an investment in us. We’re a very small shop that takes pride in every step of craftsmanship and service.

Working with leather is a special organic materials that reveal imperfections throughout the construction process.

Personalizing: Minimum of 3 weeks.
Want it faster? May include a rush charge.

Customizing: Minimum of 5-8 weeks.

Custom Orders
Custom orders cannot be returned.

Special Note:

  1. We will make every effort to fix your bag before we have to resort to a refund.
  2. Refunds are issued solely at the discretion of Lisa Stewart Designs.

In the rare instance that you should want to return your purchase, our policy is:

-within 7 days: full refund or shop credit
-within 30 days: full refund minus 25% restocking fee
-within 1 year: free repair

The item must be returned in its’ original condition. You will be responsible for the proper packaging of the return. The product price will be refunded in full. Shipping charges are non-refundable for general returns.

[Broken, Damaged, Incorrect Order]
In the instance of a defective/broken product or incorrect order, we will gladly replace the item free of charge or refund all costs (including shipping charges) associated with the purchase. To be eligible for a full replacement or refund for a defective or broken item, contact us within 5 days of delivery. After 7 days, the item may be subject to our standard 30-day return policy.

In the instance of a refused or unclaimed shipment, shipping charges will not be refunded.

Please remember, it’s just the 2 of us. We do our best to send status reports (and sometimes with photos!), but due to the nature of our business, we find ourselves juggling a very busy schedule often fraught with getting ready for shows outside of the shop. Also, sometimes Mother Nature just doesn’t cooperate when it comes to staining, sealing, or glueing; unbeknownst to you, we may have to make the product a second time. Just know that we’re working hard to make your custom piece perfect. This is the nature of operating a business and making handcrafted products in America.

As we like to say, “We don’t use child labor, and we don’t use prison labor, we do this to ourselves.”

When will I be credited for my return?
We credit your account as soon as we process your return and receive the merchandise, generally within 5 to 15 business days following the receipt of the return. Check with your bank or credit card institution to see when they will report the credit to your account.
